• We offer Tahitian and hula dance performances for many events.

• Need entertainment for your child's Polynesian -themed or lu'au party?  You've come to the right place! 
 
All party packages include supervision to party activities while you supply the location, cake, ice cream, and any food, drink, and utensils. required.

 

Option 1: We provide a dance performance only
We can come for half an hour, an hour, or more to introduce the children to Polynesian culture and dance.   The dancer(s) teach(es) dance steps and performs. $50 to  $150 plus transportation fee if beyond Hampton/Newport News/Yorktown

Option 2: We provide a dance performance plus supervision of games and other activities

You have the option of choosing a plan based on gender (girls/boys) or by age group:
 
Polynesian Party geared for Girls
* Mini performance by our Polynesian dancer(s)
* Easy to learn Hawaiian Hula and Tahitian Ori lessons where the children learn to tell a story with their hands and match the beat with their hips.
* Hands-on instrument demonstration.
* Costume dress-up.
* Maori Poi Ball lessons in which the children learn to spin very soft, yet firm poi balls to the rhythm of island music.
* Age-appropriate arts and crafts.
* Special gifts for the Princess: a silk hair flower and flower lei to make her feel like the Princess of the party or a pair of poi balls to keep for their very own!
 
 Polynesian Party geared for Boys
* Mini performance by our Polynesian dancer(s)
* Fast, upbeat Tahitian Ori lessons
* Hands-on instrument demonstration
* Costume dress-up.
* Maori Poi Ball lessons in which the children learn to spin very soft, yet firm poi balls to the rhythm of island music.
* Age-appropriate arts and crafts.
* Free gift for the birthday boy: a pair of poi balls to keep for their very own!
 
Little Keiki Party (geared for ages 2 to 5)
 
Keiki (children) will learn mea Hawaii (things Hawaiian) taught by an experienced hula dancer in full costumes. Party includes: 45 minutes of hula fun, hula dress up for the keiki, basic hula movement, basic hula hand motions, learn a hula, learn Hawaiian words, hands-on hula implement use, and demonstration, solo performance of hula learned by students, This is a fun and fast-paced party. Fun for both keiki and parents!
 
Kamali'i Party (ages 6 and over)
Kamali'i (older children) will learn mea Hawaii (things Hawaiian( taught by an experienced hula dancer in full costumes. Party includes: 60 minutes of hula fun, hula dress up for the keiki, basic hula movement, basic hula hand motions, learn a hula, learn Hawaiian words and some history, hands-on hula implement use and demonstration, solo performance of hula learned by students, learn Tahitian dance steps, and use of Maori poi balls, Fun and educational for both keiki and parents!
 
Games and activities included for any children's party:
* Hot Coconut (like Hot Potato)
* Musical "Beach Towels" (or chairs!)
* Individual and group picture taking opportunities with the performer(s)
